Lateef Adedimeji, 'Lisabi' Score 10 Nominations At 2025 AMVCA
Popular actor Lateef Adedimeji and his record-breaking Netflix movie Lisabi have earned nominations for the 2025 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).
The awards, which celebrate African filmmakers, actors, and content creators for their excellence in the industry, unveiled this year's nomination list.
In a remarkable feat, Lateef Adedimeji and Lisabi secured nominations in 10 categories, including Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Movie, Best Art Direction, Best Indigenous Language (West Africa), Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Costume Design, Best Sound Design, and Best Makeup.
Taking to his Instagram page, Lateef Adedimeji expressed his excitement, captioning the announcement with:
