Jude Okoye Granted N100m Bail Over Alleged N1.38bn, $1m, £34,537.59 Money Laundering Case
Jude Okoye, the former manager of the defunct music group P-Square, has been granted N100 million bail by the court.
The Nigerian Voice recalls that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) charged Jude Okoye, the elder brother and former manager of Paul and Peter Okoye of the disbanded music group P-Square, with laundering ₦1.38 billion, $1 million, and £34,537.59. He was remanded in Ikoyi Prison on Friday.
In a recent development, Jude has now been granted bail while awaiting trial for allegedly being involved in the laundering of N1.38 billion, $1 million, and £34,537.59.
Furthermore, he was granted N100 million bail with two sureties in like sum, each possessing N100 million worth of landed properties in Lagos.
Additionally, Jude has been banned from leaving the country without approval, with his trial set for April 14, 2025.
