Joseph Aloba, the father of late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has revealed that his son's demise opened the doors of positive things in his life.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that late Mohbad died on September 12 2023, and up till now, the cause of the singer's death has not been ascertained. However, fingers have been pointing at the singer's former record label boss, Naira Marley and his associate, Sam Larry

Joseph Aloba made this claim during a recent interview with media personality Akin Abolade. He stated that his son's passing opened the door of positive things in his life.

According to Mohbad's father, his late son planned to do many things for him, but his life was cut short, but God and the spirit of his late son combined together to send people to assist him.

Joseph Aloba said:
"Let me just say yes, my life got better after Mohbad’s death because he is my friend. He had it in plan to do many things for me but they didn’t allow him to do them. After his death, it was the spirit of Mohbad, and that of God combined together that began to send people to assist me.

“Even the car and everything I have now, it was people that gave them to me and it is beyond ordinary. So it is the spirit of Mohbad and God that led those people to give me all I have now

"Those were the things he was meant to be doing for me, but they didn’t allow him to do them."
