"This Life Don Tire Me" – Portable Seeks God’s Grace Amid Property Battle with Ogun State Government
Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has called on God for grace as he faces an ongoing property dispute with the Ogun State government.
The Nigerian Voice recalls that Portable has been embroiled in a conflict with the Ogun State Government, which has seized his property and arrested some of his workers.
In a surprising move on Tuesday, Portable shared a video message on his Instagram page, praising President Bola Tinubu and Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun. He appealed to them for mercy, as most of his property is at risk of being demolished.
Earlier today, the singer took to his Instastory to express his frustration with the situation. He stated that God should have taken his life yesterday, emphasizing that he is tired of life but will never tire of God’s grace.
In his prayer for the day, he asked God not to let his enemies shame him and to turn his shame into glory.
Portable wrote on his Instastory:
"God you for don take my life Yesterday let your Grace speak for me this life don tire me but your Grace no go tire me Alhamdulilahi I wake up today again pls Don't let my enemy shame me God turn my shame to glory."
