Controversial reality star, Natasha Anita Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has opened up on the reason behind her relocation to the United Kingdom.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Tacha, via her X handle, announced that she was relocating to the UK, some weeks ago.

Explaining the reason behind her relocation in a chat with British media personality Madame Joyce, Tacha revealed that the main reason was because she has achieved success in the Nigerian market.

However, she clarified that relocating to the UK does not affect her Nigerian deals, as long as the offer is good.

Speaking about the influencing scene in Nigeria, she claimed that it was not as beautiful as it seems behind the scene. She claimed that many influencers are being underpaid for their publicity.

Tacha said:
"I relocated to the UK because I have conquered the whole of the Nigerian market. Relocating to the UK doesn’t mean I’m not going to do Nigerian deals. If the offer is good, why not?

“The influencing scene in Nigeria looks so beautiful, but behind the scenes, it’s not as beautiful as it seems because the money is poor. Someone would pay you N6 million, that’s around $3,000, for you to influence for six months and post two videos a month.

“The fee was the same when I left the Big Brother Naija show in 2019, but it made sense then. At least, you could book a plane ticket with it. But right now, $3,000 is nothing. N6 million seems good, but when you have to convert it to dollars, travel abroad, and spend money to look good, there’s nothing left.”
