Speed Darlington Is Still In Police Custody - Deji Adeyanju
Human rights lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, has bemoaned how his client, Speed Darlington, is still in the police custody.
The Nigerian Voice recalls that Deji Adeyanju announced via his Facebook page last Wednesday that "Our client Speed Darlington, a.k.a AKPI has been arrested by the Nigerian police in Owerri at his show upon return to Nigeria."
Taking to his X handle today, Deji Adeyanju revealed that the police have refused to release Speed Darlington on bail. He noted that his client has spent 5 days in the prison since his arrest was initiated by Afrobeats star, Burna Boy.
Deji Adeyanju wrote on X:
"The police have refused to release Speed Darlington on bail 5days after his arrest which was influenced by Burna Boy. They are now mocking him."
