Nigerian gospel singer, Dare Melody, has opened up on his regret during the wake keep of his late wife, Adedoyin Odunuga nee Odagi.

The gospel singer lost his wife in the early hours of Thursday, 24th of October 2024, and he announced it on his Instagram page.

Speaking at the wake keep organized for his late wife, he praised her for her unwavering support. He noted that he always told his late wife that whatever she heard about him, she should accept him as he is because he is a musician.

He lamented that he used to fix people's homes but when the storm came he couldn't fix his own home.

"I try so hard for my today not to spoil my tomorrow. I used to tell my late wife, whatever you hear about me, we are musicians and we are human. Accept me as I am. My wife, Adedoyin, was a very truthful and honest person, and I am also very truthful. I don’t know how to lie. I used to mend people’s homes but when the storm came, I couldn’t fix my own home."
