Ighalo's Ex-wife, Sonia Shades Him Hours After Apologizing
The online ruckus between football star, Odion Ighalo and his ex-wife, Sonia, seems not to be ending anytime soon.
Recall that the duo have been involved in online brawls during the week, with Sonia mocking the news of Ighalo's fiancee expecting a child and the footballer hit back at her telling her to rest from all her online drama. Surprisingly, she apologized to him, promising to always be there for him.
Much to netizens surprise, Sonia has once again aimed a dig at Ighalo barely a day after she apologized. She told him to come get her bride price, stating that her father was the one who singlehandedly sponsored their traditional marriage.
Furthermore, she stated that three years ago, she went as far as organizing a farewell party for ighalo's family, but they refused to show him, which made her efforts futile.
She wrote on Instagram:
"Make plans to collect your bride price. Remember when I planned this three or four years ago, but your family did not turn up? After planning a lovely farewell party with lots of food and entertainment, you all wasted my money. Knowing that my father was the sole sponsor of our traditional marriage, your mother’s children disrespected him and his elders by keeping them waiting. Your older brother then claimed (as quoted by you in Dubai), that he was afraid of my father and couldn’t visit his home.
Please send your village representatives or my esteemed Sir Clement Ighalo, who is first in charge to collect the bride price."
