Rema Advises Nigerian Politicians On Helping Nigerians
The trend of Nigerian politicians giving out rice to victims of flood or any life disturbing situation has been utterly condemned by many Nigerians, who described it as a deviation from the main problem.
Emphasizing this is afrobeats star, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, who urged the Nigerian politicians to address pressing issues instead of giving our rice.
The singer revealed that he has also advised the governor of Edo state, Godwin Obaseki to look into pressing issues in the state.
Rema made this known on ‘The Breakfast Club’ where he said:
“It’s not about giving rice. Do you know if some kids have an allergy to rice? What about tomorrow? What are they going to eat tomorrow?
“It’s better to create a platform that would consistently provide. Create a platform that would consistently educate. Create a platform that would consistently clothe. Create a platform that would consistently shelter the hungry people.”
