ID Cabasa Advises Artistes To Be Business Oriented
The trend of many Nigerian artistes being poor at the latter stage of their career has been a subject of concern for sometime now.
ID Cabasa, a popular music producer, has advised all artistes to be business oriented.
ID Cabasa made this known during a recent conversation during an appearance at Toopsoul Studio, where he advised artistes to be wise in the business of music, aside from singing.
He noted that artistes should not just be good at singing, but learn how to make money from their songs in order to sustain themselves.
He said:
"You need to come into the industry with much more and not just as an artist. Also, you have to be business-minded. Not just the business of making music but with the sense of making money with it.”
He also spoke on artistes signing good contracts that will help them in the long run. He said:
“One of the good things that God has given you is choice. You have a choice to either stay back or stand up and walk away. It is not the business that is having the problem but our mindset.”
