Nollywood actress Sarah Martins, has dropped an advice to the public on the importance of safe sexual activities, following content creator Ashmusy's egg freezing announcement.

In a now-viral video, Ashmusy disclosed that she underwent a process to freeze her eggs. She shared a video detailing the whole process, while explaining that her decision to freeze her eggs was in order to protect herself from wrong marriages, coupled with the pressure of age.

Reacting to Ashmusy's announcement, Sarah Martins, in a post on her Instagram story, acknowledged her for educating women on the advantages of egg freezing.

She, however, urged her to admonish the public that egg freezing is not a protection from HIV/AIDS, and other sexually related diseases, emphasizing the importance of safe sexual activities.

She wrote:
"Dear Ashmusy,
Thank you for educating women on egg freezing.
But, please remind them that freezing their eggs to prevent an unwanted pregnancy doesn’t prevent them from getting infected with HIV/AIDS and other diseases that come with careless bedmatics.

It is better to freeze your eggs than give birth to unplanned children.

But it doesn’t prevent you from getting infections, my queens. Still use protection.
