The founder of Celebration Church International, Pastor Emmanuel Iren, has admonished fellow Nigerian pastors on receiving gifts from members.

The pastor who is alos a singer and songwriter admonished pastors not to accept every gift they are being given, he cited how a tithe of one million naira was brought to church by a young boy, by the time he made enquiries, he had to reject it after discovering it was the boy's school fees.

He said that pastors should be careful of demanding huge monetary gifts from students, as it could make them to commit crimes. He also admonished pastors against demanding too much from widows in order not to discomfort them.
