Adekunle Gold Believes Timi Dakolo’s Song ‘Great Nation’ Would Be Better Suited As National Anthem
Popular Nigerian afrobeats singer, Adekunle Gold, has reacted to the government’s decision to revert to the old national anthem ‘Nigeria, we hail thee.’
The decision was passed into law by the president yesterday, 29th May, 2024.
Adekunle Gold believes that Timi Dakolo's Song 'Great Nation,’ would serve as a better national anthem instead reverting to the old one. He stated that government did not consider it before going back to the old one.
He wrote on X;.
