Bobrisky Condemns Police, Following Papaya Ex's Allegations Of Assault
Nigerian cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has condemned the Nigerian police force, following the allegations of assault made by social media influencer, Papaya Ex.
On his Instagram page, Bobrisky, who currently resides outside Nigeria, revealed that despite his differences with Papaya Ex, he would not shy away from saying the truth.
Slamming the police, he stated that there is no justification for the alleged assault meted out to the influencer. He knocked them for forcing their way into any individual's car during any interaction.
Citing an example of where he resides, he shared how the police have no right to stop and search any individual at night, unless in cases of driving above the speed limit or driving recklessly.
Tagging the Nigerian police force, he urged them to educate their officers on the importance of respecting the public rights, and also following the law accordingly.
He wrote:
"I might not be cool with papaya right!
But that won't stop me from speaking
d truth. @nigeriapoliceforce what
your officer did to papaya is
absolutely wrong. No matter what
might have happen hitting her till her
face get red is terrible. Any small
interaction y'all already jump inside
people car.
"Have been living abroad for over a year now and
no police do a stop and search here at night .. if a police officer
approach you here it either you are driving above our speed
limit or driving recklessly. A police officer here will never
assault you naa. They will search you to be sure you dont have
any dangerous weapon on you and arrest you immediately then
take you to their police station. @nigeriapoliceforce pls train ur
officer well to also follow d law. Thanks."
The Nigerian Voice reported on Saturday that social media influencer, Papaya Ex accused the police of allegedly assaulting her on her way back from a shoot, in the Ajah area of Lagos State.
In a viral video during a Tiktok live session, Papaya Ex, claimed that the officer struck her face with a gun, assaulted her driver, and touched her inappropriately.
She displayed visible injuries, including a wound mark on her face, in addition to revealing that he slapped her, hit her buttocks and breasts, and forcibly took her mobile phone.
