The controversy surrounding popular Nigerian comedian and actor, Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY and his wife, Mabel Makun has been trending for some time now.

Recall that recently both AY and Mabel Makun insinuated that both of them were facing issues in their marriage and separation was in the cards.

However, Mabel Makun has now confirmed that she and AY are no longer together after initial suggestions of marital crises.

She initially wrote; "My dreams of a lifelong marriage has taken a different direction now.”

She has finally confirmed that she and her husband, AY are no longer together due to her recent post;

"I’m committed to moving forward with grace and resilience. I have faith in a brighter future for both myself and the children."

"Despite the rumors or opinions, I find comfort in the belief that all will be well."

"While it’s unexpected for things to end this way, I quietly ask for guidance from my faith as I step into this new chapter of life."
