The Nigerian movie industry has been hit with series of deaths since the beginning of this year. This time, the Hausa movie industry, Kannywood has lost a veteran star actress to the cold hands of death.

Saratu Gidado, a Kannywood veteran actress has been reported dead. The veteran actress was reported dead on Tuesday, 9th April, 2024.

The cause of the actress's death is yet unknown, though according to the reports making the rounds, the late actress family revealed that she was found dead after going back to bed after eating the Muslim early morning breakfast “Sahur."

The veteran Kennywood actress left the world at the age of 56.
