Popular Nigerian musician, Folarin Falana, best known as Falz has drummed his support behind criticized Super eagles star, Alex Iwobi.

After the super eagles of Nigeria lost the AFCON Final to Cote D'Ivoire, Iwobi was singled out by Nigerians and was subjected to cyber bullying. He was blamed for his performance at the final which led to Nigeria's defeat.

Falz has however, put forward his support for Iwobi Falz defended the player by saying; “each and every person who dons green and white to represent Nigeria in an AFCON game makes a sacrifice and shouldn't have to endure unjust treatment.“

The rapper also spoke on the AFCON Final loss, he said; "AFCON final yesterday def didn’t go as planned 😭😩

"Still we are super proud of the @ng_supereagles 🦅 💚

"They brought everyone together & gave us a reason to cheer during these crazy crazy times !"

"We win together, we lose together.
"Every single player that puts on the green white green to represent us, is making an immense sacrifice and does not deserve to be treated with this much disdain.

The rapper further said; "We speak a lot about cyberbullying but we are so quick to turn against our own.
