"The Continuous Desperation To Gain Validation Is Sickening" - Daniel Regha Slams Burna Boy
Popular social media critic and celebrity tormentor, Daniel Regha, has slammed Afrobeats star, Burna Boy, over his recent remark about the monetary value of streams in Nigeria.
The Nigerian Voice recalls that Burna Boy, via his Instastory on Tuesday, revealed the monetary value of Nigerian streams against other country streams, with Nigeria being the lowest in monetary value. He emphasized that a song being on the number one spot on any streaming platform in Nigeria is not worth celebrating. He urged his colleagues to aim higher or have other businesses alongside music in the country.
Reacting to Burna Boy's remark, Daniel Regha, via his X handle, described the 'Last Last' crooner as one of the few Nigerian artistes who make Nigerians seem worthless.
Addressing Burna Boy's claim, Regha noted that as much as charting does not really matter, being recognized as number 1 in Nigeria should not be downgraded, meanwhile other countries chart are being celebrated.
Shading Burna Boy, he stressed that the continuous desperation to gain validation from others is sickening.
Daniel Regha wrote on X:
"Burna is one of the few NG artistes who make Nigerians seem w@rthless. As much as charting doesn't really matter, a song being recognized as "No. 1" in Nigeria shouldn't be downplayed (if that of other countries are celebrated). The continuous desperation to gain validation is sickening."
