Popular American Rapper, Rick Ross has always been a fan of African music. The Rapper’s love for African music was evident when he collaborated with the Psquare brothers in 2011 on the hit song ‘Beautiful Onyinye.’

Furthermore, Rick Ross has given a shout out in a video posted on social media to African Artistes who are pushing Afrobeats to the world. The rapper appreciated Nigerian award winning rapper, Odumodublvck and controversial Nigerian singer, Portable.

Nigerian Singer's Portable and Odumodublvck are also set to be featured on Skepta’s upcoming album which further increases Africa’s influence with music on the global stage.

It could be recalled that Rick Ross announced plans to work with 12 African Artistes from 12 different African countries. Asake is the Nigerian Artiste Rick Ross has chosen to work with. The rapper also plans to work with Black Sheriff from Ghana, Stonebwoy, Nasty C from South Africa alongside other African Artistes.
