"Music Will Be Reduced To Musical Arrangements Instead Of Heavenly Sounds" - Woli Arole Bemoans State Of Gospel Music Ministry
Popular Nollywood actor-turned-pastor, Bayegun Oluwatoyin, better known as Woli Arole, has bemoaned the current trends going on In the Nigerian gospel music industry.
The outspoken cleric, who is well-known for addressing various issues that concerns the gospel industry at large, took to his Instagram page to bemoan about the current state of the Nigerian gospel music industry, and the trend of gospel singers performing instead of singing.
According to him, the gospel music ministry in Nigeria is getting to a point of charade and challatants and celebrities, performing and hosting shows, instead of vesselss ministering.
He noted that gospel music is gradually being reduced to musical arrangements instead of heavenly sounds, adding that praises by singers must be filled with power not vibes.
He wrote:
"If care is not taken "Music Ministry in Nigeria" will be a charade of challatants and celebrities performing and doing SHOWS, inside of VESSELS ministering!!!. Music will be reduced to musical arrangements instead of heavenly SOUNDS!!!. Even our Praises should be filled with POWER not VIBES!!"
