The senior pastor of the Fountain of life church, Jimmy Odukoya has not been able to contain his joy over Nigeria's victory over their African counterpart, Cameroon in the AFCON round of 16 match yesterday, 27th of January, 2024.

Before Nigeria faced Cameroon yesterday, Jimmy Odukoya made a video where he was seen praying for Nigeria to win over the African counterpart. When Nigeria won the match, he also made another video in which he celebrated Nigeria's victory and also consoled Cameroon over the loss.

The actor turned pastor said; “I pray that the Lord will give you peace. Know that I am rooting for you as you sojourn on for the next AFCON. I was looking forward to enjoying Cameroonian pepper, but I will still eat it in solidarity. You know you guys are lions and you are going to be lions at heart. Now that we have beaten you, support us as we go on to the quarter finals. Know that I am praying for you.”

Many Nigerians who enjoyed the Pastor's comment, joined him in making fun of Cameroon over their loss yesterday.
