The manager of Diamond Platunmz, Sallam Sk is faced with counting his losses as fire razes down his new radio station, Mjini Fm.

Sallam Sk's radio station, Mjini Fm was launched in December 2022 and competed with other radio stations including Diamond Platunmz's radio station, Wasafi Fm.

Dar es Salaam’s fire chief Inspector,Kulwa Nzelekela disclosed that the fire broke out in the early hours of January 12, affecting only the studio within the building that houses the radio station.

As a result of Sallam Sk's radio station being razed by fire has made some fans to suspect foul play as rumours of a rift between the manager and Diamond Platunmz circulated in 2022. Some fans believed it was the creation of Sallam Sk's radio station which caused a rift between the manager and Diamond Platunmz as Diamond Platunmz also has a radio station.

However, Sallam SK has dispelled the rumours of his fallout with Diamond Platunmz and he revealed that they are cool even though they've not been seen together in public for over four months.
