A Nigerian student, Adebiyi Isreal is on the verge of reaching the limelight just as Guinness World Records, GWR, approves his application to embark on the longest film-watching marathon.
Adebiyi Isreal, a 500L law student at Ekiti State University, revealed his approved application of venturing into the longest movie-watching hour on his social media. And this has sparked curiosity in social media users.
The email stating that his application had been approved has the title
“longest marathon watching films/movies (cinema).”
Following the approval, Adeniyi Israel took to his official Twitter handle to express appreciation to the GWR for the approved application.

Moreover, Adeniyi Isreal who got inspiration from notable Nigerian GWR holders like Hilda Baci, Wizkid, and Rema has expressed his preparedness to smash the current holder of the Guinness World Record of the longest movie-watching hour.
A report from Guinness Word Records has it that a Sri Lankan, Suresh Joachim is the current holder of the longest movie-watching hour.
Suresh who smashed the feat in Johannesburg, South Africa, back in 2001 spent approximately 121 hours and 18 minutes watching movies. This is nonetheless the setting benchmark that Adebiyi Isreal aims to surpass.
