Yobe Lecturer Dies Because Of Wife's Terrible Ailment

Dr. Barde Luka Yelwa, a 38-year-old lecturer has been reported dead because of the situation of his wife's, Godiya, ailment.

It's more disastrous that the wife who was ill reportedly passed away Two days after the death of the husband.

It is unfortunate how horrific incidences lurk around Nigerian university surroundings. If it's not a terrible case about a student it will be a sorrowful story about academic or university officials.

Recall, just yesterday, The Nigerian Voice reported how Moses Simon, a university student of Plateau died after he fell from a tall construction site.

It is however pathetic that Dr. Barde, a lecturer in the biology department at the Umar Suleiman College of Education in Gashua, Yobe State, passed on after a brief illness.

On Saturday, April 22nd, two days after he died, his wife also died living behind a 5-year-old girl and a 2-year-old boy.

The couple will be buried at Dagare Village, 10 kilometers along the Bauchi-Jos Road, on April 24, 2023.

Friends, family, and coworkers of the couple have cried out in pains on Facebook.

“We spoke just a few days ago after your Ph.D. accomplishment not knowing that it would be the last moment I would ever hear from you again.” Joeman Joseph, wrote on Facebook.
