Mr Macaroni Slams Police Over Death Of Secondary School Student In Ibadan
Popular content creator and activist Adebowale Adedayo, best known as Mr Macaroni, has slammed the Nigerian police over the death of a secondary school student in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Recall that social media, particularly X formerly known as Twitter, was filled with various tweets of #End Police Brutality, following the death of a secondary school student on Tuesday.
According to numerous reports, the tragic event occurred around Gbagi Market, as police officers were reportedly in pursuit of a vehicle, and in the process, one of the officers opened fire, and a stray bullet hit a secondary school student who was in his father's car on his way to sit for the WAEC examination.
Despite being rushed to the hospital, the student was announced as 'Brought In Dead' by the hospital in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Joining many Nigerians in condemning the actions of the Nigerian Police, Mr Macaroni, who has been actively criticizing the Nigerian police force for sometime now over their inhumane treatment of Nigerians, took to his X handle, where he wrote:
"Wicked, Evil, Callous, irresponsible and shamelessly Corrupt @PoliceNG just killed an innocent boy in broad daylight!!!
MURDERERS!!!"
