Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Davido’s personal logistics manager, Isreal DMW, took to his social media handle to lament about the outrageous inflation in the price of the native food he bought in the United Kingdom.

The Manager revealed in a post on his official Instagram page that he spent ₦25,000 on Eba and Ogbono soup. This however has caused a lot of people talking.

Honestly, here in Nigeria the cost of the native food would ordinarily not go beyond the range of #2,00 -3,000. This experience underwent by the manager exposed the hyper inflation that coiled around the neck of the United Kingdom's economy.

Unfortunately, while the manager goes to express his resentment about the high cost of the food, he pointed out that there were only three pieces of meat in the soup.

Recall that Isreal DMW announced his arrival in London, UK ahead of Davido’s performance in UK concert for his newly released album, Timeless.

On April 2nd 2022, Davido kickstarted his stage performance in the New York in front of huge crowd and by extension performs songs off his 4th studio album.

The socialite shared a view of Eba and Ogbono soup he bought in UK and captioned it, “25k for eba and ogbono soup of 3 meats ? Wetin no reach 3k for Nigerian ooh. Hmmmm”.
