Nigerian songwriter, Afrobeat singer and Grammy-Award winner, Burnaboy has been receiving a back-to-back backlash from Nigerians because of his take on the ongoing electioneering process.

Unlike Burnaboy, notable Nigerian celebrities have From onset been making their voice heard. in cases of electoral malpractice, celebrities like Mr Macaroni, Falz the bad Guy,Sabinus and several others have been restlessly condemning the act via any means possible. Burnaboy who has been demanded by Nigerians to say something has remained invariably mute.

Recall that yesterday after several trolling, The Nigerian Voice reported that Burnaboy took to his social media to explain to Nigerians why he has been silent. In his assertion, he claimed that none of the big contenders is worthy to support and that is why he has silent.

Still on this, popular media personality, Shade Ladipo, out of resentment dragged Burnaboy in the mudd in her official social media page.

Shade Ladipo called out Burnaboy and labelled him as a clown and several other names. She also said Burna is an opportunist who uses Nigerian as a template to thrive.
