”I Love Tinubu; But I'll Not Use My Selfish Interest To Lead Others": Toyin Abraham

Nollywood star, Toyin Abraham has expressed her stance on the matter bordering on the 2023 general election.

While she spoke on a solemn note, she took her time to advise social media users to desist from bullying other people over the differences in their respective political views. she also admonished internet users to stop harassing her, Eniola Badmus, Bimbo Akintola, and other people who have unveiled support for Bola Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate. This is what she said:

“stop bullying people for their choices, asiwaju baby”

Recall that she recently disclosed interest for Tinubu. This was revealed on TVC’s “Your View,” when she revealead that she admired Tinubu for all that he has contributed to the entertainment sector.

"I love Asiwaju and I’m speaking about myself. I love him, I might vote for him because I love him. I’ve not decided but I’m just saying it. And because of the things he has done for my industry,” she said.

She however, stressed the point she will not force people or allow her selfish interest propel her to persuade people to share the same political view as hers.

Her words read:
“I’m not going to use my own selfish interest to lead others. He has been a wonderful man to my industry, he has been there for people and my industry. I am speaking from my own perspective. He is a good man. He has been there for people even when they had nothing. I am speaking for my own Oluwatoyin Abosede Dada Abraham-Ajeyemi.

Let people choose whoever they want to choose. I will not let people use the gender part of me. I will support anyone who supports everybody. Someone competent. I’m not going to jeopardize the future of our children because of gender part or because I have a colleague there.” Toyin Abraham had said
