Popular Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson has taken her time to address the misinterpretation of the cancer she once had.

The Nollywood actress took to her social media to debunk the rumor that she has a cancer. She however stated that she was absolutely misquoted on her revelation of the state of her health.

She said,
" I do not have cancer, I once had cancer scare; i.e I had a swelling on my neck and doctor felt it's something serious and I had to remove my thyroid. I'm perfectly okay"

Recall few days ago, Mercy Johnson while speaking with Joke Silva on her YouTube cooking show known as Mercy’s Menu pened up on how she once had a cancer scare which led to a settlement for medications for the rest of her life.

Actress Mercy Johnson however clarified the statement after receiving multiple calls from concerned fans who misunderstood her health issue as having cancer.

Sharing the video, Mercy Johnson accompanied it with the caption, “So a little PSA! I’m okay guys 😘 Thanks for all the calls and DMs I don’t take your love for granted! 😘.”
