Oxlade, in his recent interview revealed himself to be like other few Nigeria singers like Adekunle Gold, 9ice, Falz, to mention a few, who do not take weed for inspiration.

Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman, known professionally as Oxlade, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter signed to Troniq Music, Epic Records in France, and Fuenlabrada Records in the UK.

Recall that many months back, Adekunle Gold disclosed to his fans on his social media in a question-and-answer session that he doesn't smoke weed because he doesn't think he needs weed to write extraordinary lyrics.

In a recent interview, oxlade disclosed that he would not smoke because of his health. In the interview, he revealed that part of what many people do not know about him is that he is asthmatic and it would be dangerous for him to smoke.

His words read partly: "I'm asthmatic, and that's what many people don't know about me. I have got asthma; u don't smoke. At all, I don't smoke, is not good for my health. "
