Queen Mercy Atang Unveils Foundation Amidst Charity Outreach CeremonyIn Akwa Ibom

Nigeria renowned Ex-Beauty Queen and Ex Miss International World Classic, Queen Mercy Atang has officially unveiled her humanitarian platform named Queen Mercy Atang Foundation. The foundation was launched officially in Akwa Ibom State in a delightful event that witness the extension of several charity gestures for volunteers and people of Akwa Ibom state.

Speaking with our correspondent at the event, Queen Mercy Atang, expressed her visionary interest at ensuring happiness for women and children across Nigeria and Africa. However, the Foundation's major focus is premised on consistent initiatives that will continue to promote the growth and development of women and children, through empowerment, education, adequate nutritional provisions and healthcare.

During the launch ceremony of the Queen Mercy Atang Foundation, several giveaways where readily available and was distributed to women and children across communities in Akwa Ibom state. Some of the gifted items were bags of rice, food stuffs, academic books for children, school bags and other necessary school material for support of kids' education.

In a reaction from a beneficiaries who spoke with our reporters, she noted that the initiative by Queen Mercy Atang is indeed a dream come through for some of them living below poverty levels and are unable to take care for their families, considering the recent economic struggles in the country. She stressed that the interventions by the Queen Mercy Atang Foundation will further aide the improvement of children and women across the state.

Her majesty appreciated everyone who made out time to be part of the launching ceremony of her foundation and stated emphatically that her organization(Queen Mercy Atang Foundation) was opened to prospective partnership so as enable them create more impact across several geographical zones across Nigeria and Africa.
