Controversies Can Never Boost My Career…Chuq-E
Often times, in the Nigerian music industry, fans tends to see some musicians trying to sell their latest singles with controversies as they use it to create an awareness for their songs but not all believes in such ways.
Starting to list names of musicians who do such might not be necessary as often times, they have been put on blast and they end up apologizing for their actions.
For fast rising singer, Otulu Austin Chukwuma better known as Chuq-E, who is under Versatile Records, he does not believe that creating controversies or stunts will go as far as boosting his career as he is of the view that doing the right thing as an artiste will help put him in the right spotlight.
In his words, “I don’t need stunt to sell my music. When I go into a studio to do a song, I already know that the song will sell. All I have to do is to do the necessary things like publicity; in fact, I need a good producer, a good song then start promoting it, so when I do that, I’m sure everyone is going to love it.”
