Five Arrested For Rebranding, Selling Tainted Water To Banks, Companies
Not fewer than five suspects have been arrested by operative of the Lagos State Rapid Response Squad (RSS) illegal rebranding and selling of tainted water to unwary banks and companies.
The suspects are Chukwuma Offor and Ofonime Ikpe and other three accomplices.
In statement by the owner of the said water bottle company, Mr Sunday Nnaduaga affirmed that one of the suspects, Chukwuma has worked with him in his factory but disappeared only to commence his own alleged illegal water business elsewhere.

He said, "I just noticed that Chukwuman stopped coming to work without any notice, I try to put a call through in a bid to reach him but was abortive. Sometimes ago, a friend of mine hinted me that he saw him distributing dispensable water to our customers mostly banks and other big companies in Lagos.
"Since that day I started to keep tab on him until I caught him red-handed selling produced water with several registered names in an unkempt environment. Afterwards, I hinted RRS team on patrol which led to the arrest of the two suspects."
