Atiku Abubakar Announces Plan to Quit Politics
It’s no longer news that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is an Arsenal fan.
The former All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate announced tongue in cheek that he will take a break from active politics to join the London club.

Atiku made the announcement via his twitter handle that he was joining the Arsene Wenger side after completing his medicals.
Atiku posted pictures of himself on a treadmill and some other gym equipment with a caption; “Warming up for my medicals, so I can complete my transfer to Arsenal in January,” he twitted.
While many supporters understand his ribbing, others have chosen to return his barb, saying the former VP does need a lesson or two from the likes of Arsene Wenger to help perfect his plans for 2019.
