The long wait is over, prolific director and former DGN president, Andy Amenechi returns to Nollywood with the film Purple Hearts.

Currently on location in Anthony Village in Lagos, the Award winning prolific director of films like

‘Heart of Gold’, ‘Egg of Life’, ‘The Concubine’ and the popular blockbuster ‘Igodo’ and ‘Mortal Inheritance’ is coming back with a bang.

Purple Hearts is a riveting tale of survival and selfless love from the stables Silverscreen production, this film as much as it will entertain is bound to be informative and enlightening.

Purple Hearts features heavy weight stars like Tana Adelana, Kunle Remi, Kiki Omeili, Lanre Hassan amongst others and introducing Adaugo Ogbu.

Written by Adelarin Awotedu, Andy Amenechi is working with a crew of young filmmakers, from Line Producer Lilian Ukwu to Toma Enarkhire to bring the film Purple Hearts to life, a blend of the old Nollywood and the new Nollywood breaking the myth of a divide in the burgeoning industry.
