Why I collaborated with Ycee — Tjan
By Rotimi Agbana
Tijani Olasunmbo, aka 'Tjan' made a name for himself through his smashing RnB tune Aduke, produced by Nigeria's one and only talented Cobhams Asuquo.
Since then, the soft spoken soulful vocalist has continued to wow music lovers with his vocal prowess and stage craft. The singer, whose first single Aduke, has been enjoying massive airplay, recently dropped a new song titled Meji, featuring Omo Alhaji rapper, Ycee. The song which talks about life in general, has a groovy beat that could get one hopping on the dance floor.
Asked why he decided to work with Ycee on the new jam, he had this to say: “I chose to work with Ycee because he came to mind when I heard the beat. Even when I was working on the song, I knew I was going to let him do a verse on meji. Apart from being the rave of the moment and known as Jagaban, he is someone I truly respect as an artiste and we are cool. Working with Ycee was such a wonderful journey. He’s super talented; he knows his art and is equally good at what he does.”
