KSA'S CONFESSION ON OBEY - AS BOTH SET FOR MUSICAL DUET

many, King Sunny Ade and Evangelist Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi are the best of friends, to others they are music rivals who can never see anything good in each other.

However, for the first time since the duo have been rivals in the last forty years, King Sunny Ade has exclusively revealed another part of their relationship.
“Ebenezer Obey remains my best friend and there has never been a day when we had any quarrel.” This confession is coming against a general belief of their fans that both men are arch enemies.

King Sunny Ade, who will soon mark his 40 years on stage, said the relationship between him and Ebenezer Obey in those years got to a stage that their fans were almost engaging themselves in street fights all in the name of supporting Sunny Ade or Ebenezer Obey. "I must confess that we never fought for a day. In fact, we had to formulate it that both of us are fighting. We organized elders in the music industry to intervene in the scuttle that never was.”

However, KSA continued, "The cat was let out of the bag on a day Chief Olabisi Ajala caught the two of us drinkingtogether in the house of Ebenezer Obey somewhere in Papa Ajao, Lagos and shouted, “I will tell people that you are not fighting each other, only faking the idea of a quarrel between the two of you.” Monetarily, KSA said, “ I never benefited so much in the industry as people thought due to some reasons.”

Meanwhile, arrangement has been concluded for the duo to release a joint album, the first of its kind in the history of their musical career.
According to our source, proceeds generated from the musical duet album would be sent to children hospital, not forgetting the fact that Evangelist Ebenezer Obey is a product of a children hospital.

King Sunny Ade also revealed that the album would be in juju and gospel music, with the possibility of both to sing one or two of their various tracks in the duet album.
