On 21^stJune, 2016, Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua stood still as Nigerian Association of Computer Science Students (NACOSS) stormed the School Campus with her Pageant Show tagged ‘Mr. & Miss Nacoss 2016’.

The show attracted Pioneer Queens and Kings of the Great Association as Guests Artistes thrilled the audience with their Cool and Thunderous performances.

The climax of the event was the crowning of the new King and Queen as the Chief Judge Dj Twist officially announced Comrade Ndifereke Akpan as Mr. Nacoss 2016 and Comrade Faith as Miss Nacoss 2016.

Mr. Nacoss 2016 Profile
Comrade Ndifreke Samuel Akpan popularly known Sendo, born on November 5^th 1994 is a native of Ibiono Local Government in Akwa Ibom State Nigeria. He is a Computer Science Student of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State.

His Hobbies includes: Singing, Dancing & Playing Football. His is 5.2 ft tall, dark in complexion with a black hair, round face and black eye-ball.

In his words he said:
“I had always wanted to be a leader so as to lead my people with my Aspirations and having been crowned “Mr. Nacoss 2016” (Akwa Poly Chapter), I believe it is the answer to my prayers long time ago before I even got an admission.

As “Mr. Nacoss 2016” (Akwa Poly Chapter), I know fellow Nacossites are looking up to me so I promise never to turn my back on them as I hope to represent them as well as making sure they are not victimize in any way. I also hope to work with all the Class Reps in making sure that I get to know the challenges faced by Fellow nacossites as I pray God will give me that Grace and ability to add values to their academic live through the help of my Able and Dynamic H.O.D., Mr. Ubon Obonguko.

Once again I thank God for giving me the opportunity to serve my people as I will never let them down”.

Miss Nacoss 2016 Profile
Comrade Faith Mark Innocent born on 1995 is an indigene of Ikpe Annang Village in Etim Ekpo Local Government of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. She is a Computer Science Student of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State.

She is 5.5 ft tall, chocolate in complexion.
Her likes are Betrayals and Heart breaks, her Hobbies are Dancing, Singing and making Friends.

Her Philosophy of Life is “Simplicity is the best Sophistication”

According Faith, her passion for pageantry started right from the womb as she was involved in Beauty Contests back in her High School days.

Having emerged the winner at the “Miss Prestige Beauty Pageant 2013” and crowned as “Miss Prestige 2013”, she got singed into a Modeling Agency (House of Gold) in 2014 which happens to be her Current Management crew.

When asked her Journey so far in Pageantry, she said:

“Well, it’s said that no good thing comes easy. It hasn’t been an easy ride for me but I thanked God for everything. I live a life of a Queen; Lols, of course I am a queen.

Working hand-in-hand with my King (Mr. Nacoss) and Nacoss Executives, I strongly believe it’s going to be a good one for Fellow Nacossites and the Polytechnic as a whole”.
