Source: lifestyle.ng

I have decided to share some of my beauty secrets. They have worked wonders for me and I'm certain you'll thank me later after using them. Here are five anti-aging oils for a firm and youthful skin.

Carrot Seed Oil: Known as the King Anti-aging oil, is a fantastic oil for skin care (revitalizing and toning) and it is considered one of the best oils for Mature Skin. It aids in removing toxins and water build up in the skin giving it a fresher and more firmer appearance.

Geranium Oil: is an effective anti-inflammatory oil. It also helps to lighten age spots and even out the skin tone. Geranium oil also improves blood circulation under the skin's surface which helps in cell regeneration, making it useful for fading scars, spots wrinkles, and other visible skin imperfections.

Frankincense Oil: Aids in regenerating the skin cells, reducing the appearance of scars, fine lines, and wrinkles. Frankincense is also great for tightening up sagging skin, evening skin tone, and balancing the skin's pH.

Sandal wood Oil: Sandal Wood oil can help to soothe damaged or irritated skin and also aid with fading scars, wrinkles and to smoothen the skin's surface

Lavender Oil: Aside from its skin healing properties. Lavender is an antioxidant oil that fight imperfection on the skin from fine lines, wrinkles and even sun burns. You can use this oil alone for fading out scars.

For a youthful looking skin, you can mix 1 or as many of these oils together and use them in your beauty routine.

Remember essential oils should never be applied directly on the skin to avoid irritations. Always mix your essential oils with a base oil like coconut oil and Jojoba which are known to be super base oils for the skin.

For More base oils, you can read our list of “Top 10 oils to use as a base for your essential oils”.

My favorite recipe is a mix of lavender oil with Frankincense . I apply this directly on my skin right after taking a shower when my pores are opened.
