Timaya can now smile because his alleged mistress, Lisa Walsh who went missing in action after she was accused of dating Timaya has spoken out. When this happened, Timaya refused to talk it leaving most Nigerians believe that it may have been true.

  Lisa, the fashion entrepreneur is back and has decided to tell her own side of the story.

In 2015, Timaya was accused of raping a girl and running off to America  'I have been talking with this girl for about one year and it is funny how someone you think you know can act very hungry and low.how can i leave Nigeria and go to America where the law works to rape anyone?Am i crazy?.' He had denied '…I am a young man that is doing very well and i guess she had expectations that i didnt meet up to and she decided to use rape because she knows that is the fastest way to bring anyone down.

On Lisa's part, she said:"Yeah, I've been away for a while, I had to take time off to re-invent, re-strategise and re-launch some of my projects which includes a new website, a series of fashion shows and real estate". About her alleged affair with Timaya, she responded: "Just to clear the air, I have never dated Timaya, he's a friend and I've known him for over 7 years, he's actually a family friend. I feel people are just trying to make up stories, and I don't think I am up for that right now because I am back to Nigeria for good, to do what I know how to do best, helping people and pushing my business forward'.
