The money that he is accused of using runs into N13 million. It all started when his manager, Osagie Osarenkhoe was summoned to a Lagos police station over the matter.

Skales and Osagie refused to pay the label its own share from the singer's tours, performances and booking… It was OAP Freeze who revealed that the singer and manager are in cell when Osagie denied being detained.

Baseline insider,Wale Ewedemi explained "Skales and His Manager Osagie have been remanded in Police Custody after confessing to various charges of fraud and diversion of Baseline Records funds. They are currently assisting the Police in unraveling the extent of the fraud. Running into tens of millions of naira.”
