Breaking News: Dozens killed, scores of women abducted in deadly Boko Haram attack

Yola –Suspected Boko Haram militants have abducted nearly 30 women and children from Madagali Local Government area, according to villagers. The militants invaded the town where they also gunned down some two dozen people in a raid over the weekend that was reported for the first time Monday.

Locals from the Sabongari town who reached safety said the massacre and mass abduction was part of collective punishment against members of a community that is opposed to the rogue group.

Sources from the area indicated that the insurgents ?invaded the town weekend, forcing residents to run into the mountainous bush.
