Following the swearing-in of renowned journalist, Steve Ayorinde as the Commissioner for Information and Strategy in Lagos State, the Save Movie Group (SMG) has congratulated him on his appointment.

In a congratulating message to Ayorinde, the Central Working Council and members of the group expressed their “profound joy on your appointment, screening and swearing-in as Commissioner for Information, Lagos State.”

According to SMG, “Your expertise, intellect and records speak for you and we must confess the Governor, Mr Ambode made the right call. It is indeed deserving and your service delivery is never in doubt.”

SMG further said, “Your experience at the helm of affairs at Punch Newspaper and National Mirror will also go a long way in your role as the mouth piece of the Lagos Government.”

SMG is headed by star actor, Yomi Fabiyi and boasts of other top entertainers like Ara, Gabriel Afolayan, Yemi Solade amongst others.
