Most have in one way or another told lies in their lifetime and comedian, MC Shakara, is no exception.

During a TVC breakfast programme, Your Views, which was monitored by Nollywoodgists.com, the comedian disclosed that he once lied because of money.

MC Shakara stated that he was invited to anchor an event, a traditional wedding and when asked if he understood Yoruba language, he said yes. According to him, when it was time to start the event, his loophole became visible, which forced the microphone to be collected from him.

He stated that he had to make do with the advance payment he had collected before the occasion.

“It was at a wedding, but Na me cause am by that time because they ask me if I can speak Yoruba and I said I can because the owo (money) that period.

"I needed the money, so I went, so I did not connect you know this traditional wedding, them tell me wetin them want but I go dey do another thing and people were surprised wondering who brought me and before I knew it, they took microphone from me. That was too serious but E no pain me because I don collect advance,” he narrated as his most embarrassing moment in the job.
