Veteran musician, Charles Oputa, fondly called Charly Boy, has debunked reports claiming he recently married another woman as wife.

It was widely reported that the eccentric singer picked a Nigerian-Ethiopian named Ify Koko as wife. He was said to have met the lady on a radio show when she called into a programme.

Charly Boy was reported to have told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that he is in love with the lady, but still married to Lady Di, his wife of 38 years.

But reacting to the reports, Charly Boy said there is nothing of such. According to him, he only promoted the lady, who co-hosts his radio programme on the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).

“Abeg oooo, I no take any second wife, no be that one dey do me. Na my Radio show with Bad ass co presenter I dey promote. E no dey hard dem,” he said.
