NBC Bans Olamide, Davido, Phyno, Others’ Songs
The Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has wielded its hammer again on songs of few Nigerian artistes, which the body feels are not appropriate for the airwaves.
The songs include Olamide's 'Bobo', Davido's 'Fans Mi,' Master Kraft's 'Indomie,' Phyno's 'Yayo,' Reminisce's 'Tesojue,' and others.
However, the songs have enjoyed massive airplays for months before the NBC wielded the big stick on them.
Nigerians have always criticised the body for coming out to ban songs when they are almost fading.
Meanwhile, one of the affected artistes, Olamide, has reacted to the news. He questioned why his song is banned in Nigeria.
