Copter Crash: Memorial Service Holds Today For Peter Bello
Family members and associates of the ill-fated crash involving the Bristow Helicopter pilot, Peter Kayode Bello, and others have organized a memorial service in his honour.
The service is scheduled to hold on Monday night, August 17, 2015 at the Catholic Church of the Divine Mercy, Admiralty Way, Lekki, Lagos.
“Grateful for a life well spent, Peter Bello's friends enjoin you to join them as they share tributes and celebrate a brilliant young man who gave selflessly of himself and continues to touch lives, even in death,” the message sent across by his friends reads.
The 26-year old co-pilot was amongst those that died when a helicopter crashed into a Lagos lagoon on August 12. He was also a media photographer and had been planning for his sister's wedding before his untimely death.
