While the Police are trying to deal with the high rate of armed robbery in the country, the vigilante groups (OPC) are trying to maintain the environment at night from domestic thieves if there is a name like that.

Recently, an elderly man was apprehended by men of the vigilante group at Iju, Agege, after he was stopped around 3:00a.m with eight live Turkeys.

He was asked where he got them from but said he bought them from the market during the day and forgot to bring them down from his car.

The man was however held down till morning as they marched him down to his house before they heard a woman screaming on the streets shouting her Turkeys have gone missing, before they realized that he had stole it from her.
