Why I Don’t Like to be Referred to as Honourable…Desmond Elliot
Nollywood actor cum politician, Honourable Desmond Elliot, has disclosed that he does not like to be referred to as an Honourable.
According to the actor, it is only when an office holder has been able to deliver his mandate to his people that he can be addressed as an Honourable.
He made this response recently when he was questioned by a fan who threw the question at him on why he does not refer to himself with the title that is most adored by most of his colleagues.
In his words, “I believe you are honourable when you achieve the yearnings of your people and perform well.”
