American singer, Pharrell Williams has praised the writing prowess of his colleague, Kendrick Lamar.

Pharrell praised his creative ingenuity saying he knows how to be very disciplined with a subject matter”.

He made this known at a recent interview held in celebration of his new music album release titled in appreciation, featuring Tyler and 21 Savage. Pharrel referred to Lamar as “one of the greatest writers of our times. "

In his words, the award winning artist appraised his skillfulness in music writing,

“He knows that stickiness is important, and he knows that it has to feel great.”

The award winning singer spoke about the ‘Mr. Morale’ album for addressing issues surrounding the black community.

“It was like nobody was really saying it, and if they were, they weren’t really saying it in a cohesive way, so l said, ‘I’ll do it.’ This album’s going to be medicine to a lot of people," he affirmed
